For rehabilitation of its weeds-rampant soil riverbed, an eco-friendly construction design was adopted for the dual benefit of facilitating waterweeds control and minimizing damage to aquatic life. Specifically, in constructions sectionally implemented over several consecutive years, 80% of its soil bottom was lined alternately with fiat blocks and cobble-filled blocks. The water flow of the Gente river is used for the irrigation at the paddies along the lower part of the river. Therefore even after the completion of the rehabilitation the effluent seepage into the channel should be kept just as before the rehabilitation. This study was aimed at tracking how the water balances fared after the rehabilitation of the channel. We conducted a seven-year survey of the water balances in a 624m-long middle reach M1~M3 of the channel. The hundred times observation showed that this construction design did not give bad mischief on the water balances., 11, KJ00004372107}, pages = {81--88}, title = {近自然水路工法における水収支の変化}, volume = {16}, year = {2006}, yomi = {ヒロセ, シンイチ and オカダ, ススム} }
